Greenville, S.C – Durham Homes, USA, operating partner of Broadstreet, Inc., now has eighty homes in process in the Upstate across four developments which are expected to yield hundreds of homes when all phases of development are complete. South Carolina consistently ranks as one of the top states for people to move to, and Greenville continues to be one of the most active real estate markets in the state. Durham Homes and Broadstreet hope to help supply high-quality housing through these attractive homes in vibrant and growing communities.
“It’s no longer a secret that Greenville is a great place to live and work,” said David Feingold, Chief Executive Officer of Broadstreet, Inc. “People want to invest in this community, and we are excited to bring quality housing opportunities to help meet that market demand.”
The four developments currently in progress across the Upstate include: Garden Gate in Travelers Rest, Squires Pointe in Duncan, Weatherstone in Simpsonville and The Cottages at Turtle Creek in Boiling Springs.
“Our unique home designs and different communities appeal to the wide variety of potential homebuyers that are flocking to the Upstate region. Durham Homes is building timeless, quality homes in the Upstate that families can enjoy for generations to come,” said Joseph Baldassarra, President of Broadstreet.
Durham Homes intends to have between 400 and 600 homes in the development process this year. With population growth expected to be over 200% annually for the next three years, Durham Homes aims to produce over 300 homes in the Upstate per year, all of which have opportunities for high-quality, luxury upgrades.
The company is led by veterans of residential real estate, Martin Childress and Rob Childress. Martin Childress has more than 30 years of industry experience, including previous roles with Dan Ryan builders and Schumacher Homes in the Greenville market. Rob Childress previously held roles at Heritage Custom Homes and Southern Legacy Luxury Homes, where he focused on homebuilding in high-end communities like the Cliffs, the Reserve and in Highlands.
“Each of these four communities represents opportunities for families to make their home in this wonderful region. As a native of the Upstate, I’ve seen how it has transformed over the years and know how special it is here. We’re thrilled to now be able to create communities and homes that can be a part of a family’s next chapter,” said Martin Childress.
Previous completed developments from Durham Homes include Tindal Park, located off South Church Street in downtown Greenville, and Braxton Ridge in Simpsonville. Both developments were sold out prior to completion.
